It’s that time of the year when you can de-clutter for a cause! Please consider donating books to the Annual PDSPA Used Book Sale. Proceeds are used, among other things, to help fund the fabulous Josie Holford Faculty Grant Program. We’re grateful for all genres of books – children, adult, fiction, non-fiction etc., and games. Nothing has to be in perfect condition! You can drop off books until the 3rd of May, at the entrance to the gym.

Please also consider signing up to help set up the Book Fair on May 3rd, run the cash register and work at the Book Café on May 4th and 5th.

And last, but not least — please consider contributing to the BOOK CAFÉ. We discovered that the kids actually LIKE apple compote, strawberries and whipped cream, and fruit smoothies. I would be very grateful for donations of:

1. Apple juice
2. Frozen fruit (especially mixed berries, bananas)
3. Whipping cream
4, Chocolate sauce (preferably Oh! Alaska chocolate syrup which is non-dairy.)
5. Any other fruit/vegetable concoction that you think would make for a good treat. Fruit skewers with cheese.
6. Fresh fruit – berries, and/ or mixed fruit salad.

Please e-mail Lisa with any questions and to work out logistics of dropping off the goodies. And please get your friends to donate too!
