She has participated in the past as has her brother Aidan (entering the 12th grade). The PDS jazz camp is an exceptional program. The parents of participating students are consistently amazed by what happens in 1 week. The musical abilities of the students certainly vary yet Bill and Ken always manage to have them making beautiful and creative music together in the short 5 days. It’s inspiring and we are grateful that Elizabeth has this wonderful opportunity to explore music and challenge herself. We are looking forward to the next school year.”

“This past summer was the second year my daughter Tess attended jazz camp at Poughkeepsie Day School. She has taken many lessons and performed in many classical music concerts but there is nothing like the experience she has during the one week of jazz camp. The instructors, the guest musicians and the immersion into the amazing world of jazz cannot compare to any other experience. As a captive audience member during the final show that ends the week of camp, I can say it never ceases to amaze me how much can be learned. Even more amazing are how the performances come together. I give the Poughkeepsie Day School jazz camp 5 stars! There is nothing better.”
