Open to the public, Poughkeepsie Day School’s Enrichment Program presents students of all ages with the opportunity to extend their learning beyond the classroom in a joyful and supportive environment. It is scheduled parallel to our After School Program, so children can join their peers in After for a healthy snack prior to attending class, and have the option to re-join them for some downtime when class ends. The price of After Care is discounted to $10/day when a child is also taking an enrichment class.*

Pop Icons (for Grades 4-12, Quarters 1 & 2)September 28, 2026 – December 9, 2026 : Meets Mondays and Wednesdays : 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM Students pick a genre or artist of their liking and then participate in weekly or semi-weekly supervised rehearsals of music chosen. Emphasis will be given to stylistic integrity, as well as melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic accuracy. All instruments, as well as singers, are welcome! Students who participate in Pop Icons will have opportunities to perform, both in and out of the school, throughout the semester. Notes: |
