Second grade is making some new friends, being a good sport, holding a hand
Second grade is playing with bloxes, squeezing some putty, raising your hand

Second grade is making popcorn on friday afternoon, and second grade is quiet reading, too

Second grade is writing a poem, making a poster, learning about fish
Second grade is eating some pizza, watching the chipmunks, swinging on swings

Second grade is building our model with jewels and glue, and second grade is making a lighthouse, too

Second grade is holding a wet eel, visiting the river, singing a song
Second grade is A to Z Mysteries, Ivy and Bean and Harry Potter chats

Second grade is making our sculptures, and coloring math quilts blue,
And, second grade is practicing spelling, too

Second grade is movies on pajama day, sitting on purple chairs, solving fractions
Second grade is watching some eaglets, riding on scooters, visiting Quiet Cove

Second grade is working together, and editing our writing,
And second grade is big fat math books, too
