Two captivating moments in different middle school classes last week:

The Fashion Show

In Erin Murphy’s 8th grade Spanish class, students presented a fashion show in order to practice vocabulary. They has a run way, outfits and, most important, accurate and descriptive narration– in Spanish, of course!

Flying

In Gillian Eames’ Physical Theater class, students have been flying! With coaching on the coordination and teamwork, students work together to provide the “machine” that permits a classmate to be raised from the ground, fly in a circle, and be ever so gently returned to earth. The students had to work together to make the assent and landing look seamless.
