The PDS Parents Association (PDSPA), in conjunction with the development office, sponsors a number of special events, which serve as both fund- and friendraisers for the school. Special events have been a part of PDS life for years. From the spring fairs of the 1960s, to the numerous theater performances with PDS alumni parent James Earl Jones and friends in the 1990s, to the most recent book fairs in the spring and fall, these events are vital to the PDS community.

Our annual Spring Benefit Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year, an opportunity to socialize with parents, faculty, staff and other school supporters. The auction, like the Annual Fund, is crucial to closing the gap between tuition revenue and actual operating costs.

The 2009-2010 academic year marks the school's 75th anniversary. We'll celebrate this milestone throughout the year with events that draw alumni as well as current familes and friends to campus.
