PDS Annual FundMany Gifts, One Purpose
Each year, PDS looks to the unrestricted financial support generated by gifts to the PDS Annual Fund to sustain and enhance the core values that distinguish the PDS educational experience from that of any other school in the Hudson Valley. Annual Fund gifts support students and faculty by enabling PDS to respond to challenges, address immediate priorities and fund programs not supported by tuition or endowment.
Gifts to the Annual Fund touch every member of the PDS community and impact every facet of the school, from academics, the arts and athletics to service learning, outdoor education and field trips.
Annual Fund gifts enable PDS to:
- Attract and retain extraordinary teachers
- Keepclasses small and the learning environment highly personalized
- Foster a strong sense of community, identity and purpose among students, faculty and staff
- Enhance technology to support teaching and learning
- Provide financial aid to help families meet the costs associated with a PDS education
- Expand library and research resources and opportunities
- Maintain and upgrade campus facilities and equipment
- Continually develop and enrich curriculum
Your gift to the PDS Annual Fund affirms your commitment to educational excellence and to PDS’s mission of educating citizens with a passion for learning and living, characterized by integrity, responsibility and mutual respect.
All members of the PDS community – trustees, faculty and staff, parents, grandparents, businesses, alumni and friends – are invited to join in supporting the educational experience at PDS through a gift to the Annual Fund.
The combined impact of every gift, small or large, truly makes a difference.
